Modern Movements

I went to the Library to find important architects that had a affect on the industry. I found found a book that proved that there were 3 architects called Frank Lloyd Write, Mies Van Der Rohe and Le Corbusier.

I first started with researching into existing architecture logos so I could see what looks best for my logo. I then picked out what did look best and listed them ranging from text fonts to what colours were used. After that I sketched some ideas out then experimented with my favorite ones in illustrator and photoshop.

Architectural Flythrough 

I plan to create a high quality Flythrough of a modern penthouse looking over a city. 

List of tasks I plan to achieve:

 Architectural flythrough

I will get influences from architectural websites (flythrough's), construction companies, brochures and interior design companies. I will also research into floor plans and different website designs. I plan to visit at least 2 art and architecture museums.

I intend to model my penthouse in Autodesk Maya. Before modelling the penthouse I will use illustrator for the floor plans and Photoshop for my brochure, poster and logo. I will not be able to complete my brochure and website until I have made the high quality renders of the penthouse. Once the motion capture of the penthouse is complete I will use Final Cut Pro to finish off the Flythrough and add audio. I will act as a professional architect and I intend to present this final product as if I was selling it. The development stages will be presented with powerpoint and the Flythrough will be shown on DVD.

All the research, logo design, and floor plans will be finished by the 20th of May. This gives me 5 weeks to complete the modelling and editing stage. Also the brochure and website will be done in this time. Using goal sheets will keep me on track with all the stages.

I will evaluate my FMP with a Blog on Blogger. This blog will consist of research, designs and videos. I will show every stage of the project on this blog.
